Ensemble of Metaheuristic and Exact Algorithm Based on the Divide-and-Conquer Framework for Multisatellite Observation Scheduling

Satellite observation scheduling plays a significant role in improving the efficiency of Earth systems. To solve large-scale multisatellite problem, this article proposes an ensemble metaheuristic and exact algorithms based on divide-and-conquer framework (EHE-DCF), including task allocation phase phase. In phase, each is allocated to proper orbit incorporated with probabilistic selection tabu mechanism derived from ant colony optimization search, respectively. we construct model for every single by using method (i.e., branch bound, B&B). The phases are performed iteratively obtain promising solution. validate performance EHE-DCF, compare it B&B, three divide-and-conquer-based metaheuristics, state-of-the-art metaheuristic. Experimental results show that EHE-DCF can higher profits complete more tasks compared existing algorithms. especially efficient satellite problems.
